Fruit ornaments are on the chandelier all year with other fruit themed items.
*on the chandelier. Yes, ornaments can be tied onto the chandelier with decorative ribbon or simply looped over an arm of the chandelier-if that is possible. If not, tie with a ribbon in a knot or in a bow, or use a thin cording to tie the ornament. A collection of ornaments that go together is best- some theme or design that ties them together. Here is my kitchen chandelier with sampler type veggies tied on it. Being non seasonal, I keep these on all year long.

*on the back of a chair or the spindle of a chair. No pictures for this one, but at Christmas, I sometimes hang mini socks tied on the backs of chairs. It would also be so cute, if you have a lot of flower ornaments, to tie them on, for say, a bridesmaid luncheon or garden party, baby themed needlepoint ornaments for a baby shower. Countless ideas exist!
*on drawer pulls or on the keys in the drawer. I have lots of opossums that run the fence, which I call, the opossum highway, on my back porch off the kitchen so I have a fondness for opossums which most do not. I stitched a small opossum canvas and have it hanging on a drawer pull in the kitchen honoring the opossums in my back yard that are hounded by my 2 schnauzers!
